During the meeting the President of Kazakhstan thanked Aliyev for the visit and participation in the solemn meeting devoted to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also noted that people of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have centuries-old ties of fraternal friendship.
- Our relationship is characterized by mutual trust. Every your visit to Kazakhstan is a new chapter in cooperation between the countries. The world economy is going through difficult times, but even in these conditions our countries are in comprehensive search for new areas of contact in trade and economy, - said the Head of State.
In turn, President of Azerbaijan stressed that he always gladly visits Kazakhstan and noted mutual understanding in bilateral relations.
I.Aliyev also congratulated the people of Kazakhstan with the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate.
